    Hi,

    Google and TB searches yielded little so can anyone ID the EUB used by Sting in his MTV unplugged concert? Supplementary qusetion: any idea why he chose that one?

    Hi,

    that's his Van Zalinge EUB built in 1979/80. There are only a few ones actually known.
    And here is more about Stings things.

    For the supplementary question: listen and hear - the tone. Sure he could have play his double bass but that can nobody tell.
