I'm cranky in my old age.
Twas thinking of replacing the Pots in my Bass, Picked up a nice set of CTS Pots from my Tech Guru Friend and they will not fit down in the slot in the Body.

Wasnt planning on cutting the slot out.

Does anyone make a High Quality replacement?

Should I just clean em and leave em alone.

Occasionally they go scratchy on me and I turn em a few turns, seems to go away then comes back.

I know the CTS's are quality Pots and even toyed with the Idea of a PIO Cap in there as well but what to do?

Did a search and couldnt come up with diddly.

They're 250k...I'm having mine routed out for the larger pots...too much of a pain putting little ones back in.

So no High Quality Mini Pots out there?

I suppose I could do it but dont want to.

I'll take some meassurements tomorrow and study on it. A well placed large drill bit would make a place as opposed to routing the whole cavity. I have seen that done a time or two.

    Not sure at this point.

I have the CTS Pots free of charge and an empty budget. :bassist:
