Anyone ever string up and tune their EBMM SR5's E-A-D-G-C?
I'm thinking about trying it, as I don't play 6 string (and don't want to) and want to experiment with some higher notes. I guess I'd just buy a set of 6's and not use the B string. Anyone try it?

I havent tried it, nor do i remember a specific case of anyone that has, but my thoughts are that it should work pretty well. Seeing as the SR5's are 34" scale, the C string should sound pretty good, and not too thin. Just an inference though.

Im not sure, but you might need a new nut installed.
