I need a personal economic stimulus package after the results of a torrid love affair with a Sadowsky MV4. I have loved these basses, but the Warwick has been in it's bag for 2 years and the Musicman has effectively been laid off since I got the Sadowsky. Bass #1: Late 90s (serial D06067) Musicman Stingray with an absolutely beautiful flat, clear varnish. Black-White-Black pickguard. The neck/headstock/fretboard is bird's eye maple. Truly one of a kind. It's been my favorite bass for a couple of years for its looks, sound and playability. There are a few dents and scratches in the varnish and scuffs on the headstock from whoever had it before me (see pics for details). With original hardshell case. pics: http://www.flickr.com/photos/brookemedlin/2910356105/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/brookemedlin/2911202144/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/brookemedlin/2911202198/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/brookemedlin/2911202256/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/brookemedlin/2910356179/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/brookemedlin/2911202318/ Bass #2: Late 90s Warwick Corvette fretless with silver chrome hardware. Passive electronics. Super smooth and beautiful bubinga and wenge body and neck (not ovankol). Like Warwick's slogan says, this thing sounds like wood, and can be very growly. I've used it to emulate an upright in various jazz groupings for years. Surprisingly, it has a pretty good picked sound as well. Very clear. Satin oil finish with nothing but belt buckle and patch cable wear. Warwick strap locks. Original Rockbag gig bag. pics: http://www.flickr.com/photos/brookemedlin/2910356293/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/brookemedlin/2911202368/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/brookemedlin/2911202412/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/brookemedlin/2911202540/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/brookemedlin/2911202492/ Asking $1000 for each. Thanks!
