    Hi,
    This great bass is still available. I need to diversify a bit and let one Musicman Stingray bass go. This is a black early 90's Stingray with a great birdseye maple neck. It plays great and sounds fantastic. I put in an original circuit schematic 2eq preamp, but will include the original preamp or rewire it for you before trading. It has a few dings here and there and the neck has aged as well in a gorgeous vintage way. I'm interested in trading- I'm open to possibilities. I'd like a great Jazz bass preferably with blocks and binding (American Deluxe, Sadowsky?) Try me.

    Trade your Stingray for this?:
    body: Fender American Select Jazz Bass (Alder with Flame maple top. Nitro finish. some small dings) (USA made)
    neck: Fender American Standard Jaguar Bass neck (tuners are American Standard. This has a jazz profile and has cool pearl block inlays) (USA made)
    bridge: Hipshot Type A Brass (string thru or top loader) (USA made)
    Preamp: Richter Passive preamp VVT (Made in Germany)
    Pickups: Delano JMVC 4 (big musicmanstyle pole pieces. Made in Germany).

    Not sure I am completely ready to part with it, but I have two jazz basses and don't currently own a Stingray (although I do have a black MM Sabre bass). Part of my interest is I have an extra Lane Poor MM pickup sitting around and I want to use it. Anyhow let me know. This is just a feeler request..

    I have a black Sabre Classic Bass. I also have multiple pickguards (black, tortoise and mint) for this instrument. Really versatile bass, the only reason I am considering a trade is that I already own two other two pickup basses, and I also have a Lane Poor MM humbucker that is not in use that I would love to throw in a Stingray.

    although from this picture you can't see, but I can send more pics later, the neck is also a birdseye maple neck but with rosewood fretboard. Like your bass, this is also a 2 eq version.

    My trade partner had unforseen problems and had to back out. The Stingray is still available. Looking for a Jazz bass (American Deluxe?).

    That's what it would have taken back then when I was looking solely for a trade. Now I have two of them and I don't mind selling.
