  1. So if you guys could have any colour of stingray you wanted, what would it be?
  2. Burnt Apple or Blue Dawn looks great on a Ray

Mine will either be Black or Pearls Blue or Candy Red or Natural or Translucent Blue or Translucent Red.
    I can't decide.

I like the ones I have.
White fiver w/matching headstock, white pearl guard and white pickup cover.
Trans gold piezo 4 w/matching headstock, black pearl guard.
Probably the only other Stingray I'd lust after would be a quilted anniversary model.

I adore burnt apple. Bursts from black inward to a rich red, with a very subtle sparkle on top. Yummy!
  8. The best one I've seen is a custom ordered Gold/Red Sparkle that had a colorchanging clear over it that accented gold to purple...or something like that! Wild! Wish I woulda took a picture. Local guy here in town uses it, so I may be able to sneak a pic some day.

But my factory available fave would prolly be black or natural w/ a rosewood board. I'm boring I know...but I'd rather not be to flashy sometimes lol.

    Yep. That's my favorite one.
  10. You missed my favorite:

    Autumn Red Rise

Imagine the Autumn Red finish (yellow center to reddish-orange at the edge sunburst with metalflake in it), except that the color change is from top to bottom, yellow on the top to reddish-orange on the bottom. Very cool with a clear pickguard. There's a cool picture of a bass just like that on the Bass Central website's Sterling page...wish I could link directly to it, but the way we have the page set up I can't :(.

Why is it that I'm the only guy who voted for blue dawn? I mean, come on! Do I really need to remind you people why bassists were put on this planet? ;)

i voted stratus sparkle. if one were to ask me tomorrow, my choice would more than likely be different, though. theyre all great colors.
  16. Translucent Green. This one guy walked into the store with one to test out amps. It was the nicest color I've ever seen. Apparently that finish was made for a limited time. Looked great with black pickguard and matching headstalk.

I am kinda partial to Pearl Platinum though.
  17. I like mine pretty much, Translucent Red....
  18. The trans orange w/ matching headstock is the ultimate ray color(IMHO).One of those colors you have to actually see to dig...I mean when someone says "orange" I think of like Brady Bunch laminated cupboard color...*gag*

    Natural would be a close 2nd. :)

  19. my dream bass! well, if it had a maple fretboard.
