Stingray Problem

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by Musicman20, Jan 7, 2003.

  1. Hello

I've got a 4 string Stingray which ive had for about 3 years and there is a small problem with it.

The heel plate where the neck is bolted on to the body appears to have a crack in it. It seems to have just appeared...but it could have been there for a while.

Have any of you experienced this problem before? If so whats the best thing to do? Can i get a new plate (with the model no stamped on) it shipped over somehow?

    Thanks

    Gareth (UK)

You gotta give us some more time than that!

Try calling or e-mailing Ernie Ball directly.

While waiting for a response, I would probably take the strings off so that you reduce the amount of stress that is being put on that area.

    Peace

Be cool man, everyone's posts get read in good time..

What you will probably end up doing is sending the piece to the Ernie ball Musicman Co. and they will replace it for Free if your bass is still under warrenty.. if its not.. well then you may have to pay for it.
