I'm in the process of modding my squier P.

I want to fit a Musicman pup in the bridge position, but cant find the measurements.

So can some of you stingray/sterling owners tell me the measurement from the neck edge of the bridge to the bridge side of the bridge pup. aswell as the measurement from the neck edge of the bridge to the neck side of the bridge pup.

    Cheers in advance

I remember reading somewhere that it can't be done. The bottom coil on the P would have to overlap with the top coil on the MM's humbucker. The closest you could get would be to literally rest them against each other but one of them would still be off.

Yeah, but the way i look at it is nothing is impossible, worst case scenario, i'll stick the treble coil on the other side of the bass single coil.

All i need is the measurements, some helpful tb'er must be able to tell me?

i cannot guarantee these specs but its what i found online a while back

    MM pickup (neck coil) 30.5”
    MM pickup (bridge coil) 31.1”
these are from the nut to the centerline of the respective coils

Its so close as to not matter IMHO.
The MM pickup overlaps the P pickup, by 2mm.

I'd just pop it right up close, it'll be fine.
