How do you tell the difference between an american one and a Japanese one? Do the Ex's say "Ex" anywhere on them?

    Thanks!

Isn't an OLP a Japanese Stingray?

The S.U.B.s are Japanese too, right?

OLP is Korean or Chinese I believe.

The SUB is definitely made in America - EB made a big deal about that when they were launched here.

    Japanese Stingrays??????

BTW, the cost of a StingRay Ex (including shipment) is about $1,300... Does not sound interesting to me...

I once emailed emailed the people at the ishibashi webshop, i was told there was two different japanese stingrays produced the ex and the ex-tb. The hardware/woods shouldn't be different from the american. the difference between ex and ex-tb is the ex-tb has a though-body bridge, and the ex hasn't.

I considered buying one of these myself since it would be cheaper than purchasing a american here... I cant really confirm their quality since i never tried one, but usually japanes produced stuff is pretty high quality, so i wouldnt really worry.
