I'm looking at buying an SR4 H/S soon and am trying to decide on the color scheme. Please feel free to post some pics (dual pickup and matching headstocks appreciated).

  2. I look to have a mnusicman this year also...

I love Black with tort. I also love black cherry burst with black.

honestly, I dont dig the matching headstock on either of thos color combos

  3. Sorry, no dual pickups, but I love my Trans Orange, matching headstock, Maple 'board, and White Pearloid 'guard scheme. If you're going for a Rosewood board, I think the Honey Burst, matching headstock, and Tort 'guard would look great.

    My favorite stingray combos are:

The limited edition buttercreme with tortiseshell is stunning
    Vintage burst with tortiseshell
    Trans Orange with white moto
    black with black

this is just a tad off topic, but...

Why do the MM5s have a different pick guard? I really want an MM5 but I really hate the looks of how they do the guard on them. Why can't it just be the same oval guard with the chrome plate under the knobs like the 4's have?

Note, this probably will not hinder me in buying a MM5 when I get down to actually buying one...

To keep on topic, I am a fan of the natural ones, or the really odd colored ones myself. I love the peach colored one that Tony plays on the Growing Up concert...

I'm kind of partial to the one I have now:

Honeyburst w/ Maple fretboard, tort pickguard

incidentally, they also have a few limited edition SRs there, in envy green (nice), radiance red (meh), and buttercream (lovely). i'm a fan of matching headstocks, but the black headstock on the radiance red one was nice.

I don't know what thats about, because I've seen the same configuration stingray in 2 different Guitar Centers now, one in California and the other in New Jersey. They must be churning out the gray HH stingrays like theres no tomorrow. In both instances, both were the only HH stringrays in the store.

Anybody got a light blue or torquoise body with maybe a whilte pickguard? And any sort of light-colored wood for the fingerboard?
    That's what I'd want.
