Stocking Genz Benz dealers in South Central PA?

I don't know where some of those towns are -- maybe one is near you. Otherwise, I'd recommend taking the road trip to Bass Specialties in Bensalem (just north of Philly), or possibly even Middletown Music in Middletown, Delaware.

 

I am close to Reading and the only place I can see that is "close" is Meadowood Music in Blandon (15-20 minutes north of Reading). Thats a small place and I think they have odd hours, so you should call ahead of time to make sure when they are open. That place seems to carry stuff that you wont just find in most music stores though. The only other places are in Bethlehem (1+ hours drive north), or to Bensalem as Nedmundo said. Sam Ash is in KOP too.

 

Heads up that a lot of Genz dealers stock only the guitar stuff or very small selections. Definitely call first as it appears you did.

 

+1 on taking a trip to Bass Specialties in Bensalem! It is definitely worth the 1 1/2 or 2 hr trip in my estimation. Glenn has put together a very special place for the bass community. He usually has a nice selection of Genz stuff, specifically for bass, obviously. I bought my Neo-Pak and my Shuttle 6.0 from him, as well as my Berg HT/EX112s.

I have to agree, Bass Specialties is worth looking into.

Bass Specialties customer service is stellar. Worth the trip +a gazillion or three.
