I guess everyone has their own individual needs. My 7 pro was definitely louder than my SVT VR but that was through the Berg NV610. Still haven't had the chance to play a tube amp through the Dually.

I don't think 300 watt tube amps are loud enough. However increased clean headroom in a tube amp would make it more desirable for me. I've never had a tube amp that I could play at the volumes I want/need to play and be able to retain the dynamics and headroom I would like.
