Based upon the amount of your mileage by which it may vary, it's impossible to know for sure. However, if you buy 3 and run them in series...DEFINITELY. Unfortunately there were only 2 made, so DEFINITELY NOT.

    IMHO

Oh, and anyone in the Seattle area know someone that has a shipping discount and wants to hook me up? Trying to ship my 15/6 to a guy in Maryland and trying to get it for less than $100...

Hmm...I ship stuff out from my work all the time. What's the weight/dimensions/zip you're shipping to? I can get you a quote.

Ric showed up today. Still gotta replace the strings and set it up but the bass is freaking mint. Neck is a lot thicker than the blue beast. Didn't realize they vary so much.

23x22x18" and 44lb's before packing. I was going to just get some heavy cardboard and cut it into panels then tape it all up as a custom box. Zip code 20912.

Yep. They vary big time. My '84 is thin, so is my '91. The '09 I had was like a baseball bat. Basically mid 80's to early 90's are good years for slim necks on a 4003. I haven't played any newer than the '09 I had but I've heard that they are supposed to be slim again.
