As suggested by T. B. Player, post your stories you tokd your wife or other family member why you got another bass. Mine is pretty tame. I've had an old Ibanez so when I bought my first Roscoe three years ago, I needed no story. I bought my second Roscoe about six months ago. I jsut told my wife that it was totally different because it was a fretless. Not really a story either. Each new bass had the usual, "My hobby pays for itself." I'm sure some of you have great stories you told family members. Or maybe you came home with the, "Wife Receipt" that was a few hundred dollars cheeper.
Whenever someone complains about my habit of buying and selling basses, I just say "I'm single-handedly keeping the American economy afloat".
