What kind of precautions should be taken as far as truss rod adjustments and what not go?

(Should this go in basses, setup, or misc?)

  2. I have one hanging on a wire coathanger in my closet. I don't think they need any special care although I loosened the truss rod on mine before I hung it up.

  3. spare necks should only be stored in sock drawers...loosening a truss rod is not completely necessary...but if it makes you feel better...

Yeah, I know the righty tighty lefty loosy thing. I just don't get it... either way could be right and either way could be left (or up or down) depending on where in the rotation you're basing your movement from.

When you are looking at the top of the nut, left is loose, right is tight.
