Hey, my explorer bass is giving me trouble (again :D ) whenever i stand up and play the basses left side droops down making it impossible for me to reach my first few frets, so what i have done is made it realy tight and press down with my right arm, but this is a realy pain when i want to play slap or play with a pick. So do you think adjusting the strap pegs might make it stay in a comfortable position?

Heres a pic of the bass incase you might need a look

  2. Absolutely, but don't move both of them. Try the bridge end first and raise it about 3" to start. You don't have to actually install it to check, just use some duct tape to tape your strap to the general location and see how it works. If it's not enough then adjust further.
