I like to play my bass just below the chest, but not too close to my waist. I just recently purchased an MTD 635 and I cant find a stap to fit me comfortably. Any suggestions on a comfortable strap for the lil people?

Use a pair of scissors? I'm sorry if I'm missing something.

i got the shortest comfort strapp for use with my thumb and it still wasn't short enough, so i had the nice lady at the local tailoring shop cut out a section of the webbing and re-sow it. now it's nice and short :)

take whatever strap you have to a tailor or shoe shop and have 'em cut out a section - provided it's nylon.
  4. I use Levy's straps, and they have 2 strap holes on the skinny end of the strap. I have it set to the shortest it could possibly go, and the second hole seats the bass somewhere around where you like to sling your bass.

I'm 5'7", if you need a reference point for that. :)
