Streamer Stage 1....MEC or Basslines?

    I have a custom shop Stage 1 with the stock MEC pups and pre and though I love it, Im wondering why I see so many withe Basslines? Was it the way they came from Warwick for awhile or is this just a tried and true combo that works good for this instrument? Any info on the differences between these would be appreciated!
