I'm wanting an efficient small cab to use stand alone for bass amplification, and also to bi-amp as a sub for a small 400 watt PA. I was thinking of the Augilar GS 112. Is this absurd or could it work? I definitely can't work with the huge 18" folded horn types. Are there better sounding and more efficient small cabs then the Aguilar for this?

  2. In comparison to a PA sub a bass cab is alot more full range, so it wouldnt be a very good sub

I would just add a 12 or 15 and not worry about the bi-amp. Just running them together will give you the extra range you are seeking.

  4. Maybe the bag end compact 15 that is specifically a sub?
