    Heya fellers!

I have a fretless which needs a setup. I'm planning to make the nut a lot lower, which will put the strings right on the fretboard. I'm only a bit afraid I'll get ratteling on the E and A strings between the nut and the tuners, due to the decrease of the angle. I have a straight headstock with a string tree for the D and G.

I'm looking for such a bar some Yamaha basses have. I think such a bar style string guide will solve the problem. Where can I buy these?

I've found one here but this one is to long. The guitar one would fit, but it's curved. And I don't know if it can take the raw power of our bass cables.

Oh, and there are hipshot ones but I'm not sure if these will fit between the nut and the E string tuner. I could buy it to try it, but hipshot charges 25 bucks for shipping internationally (I'm from The Netherlands). :meh:

    So, are there more options?
