I want to get a light set for my bass. Heres the problem, the only light sets that i have been able to find that have a high g of .35 are 4 string sets. If i bought one of these sets, what gauge string would you suggest for the low b. In other words, whats the lightest gauge i can use for the B without it being floppy.

    Thanks a ton

Id recomend a B string thats 1.20 or 1.25 with that.
What scale is the bass? 35''?

Its a 34" scale. Which contributes in a large part to the somewhat floppy b string. I figured a lighter string might help tighten it up a little. Which brings another question up, is there anything i can do to remedy Floppy B String Disease?
