Okay, im seriously looking into a new bass and my options are as follows.

    Sadowsky (working on it :p)

    5 String Kingston

    Lakland 55-01

    Ibanez BTB 405QM

What I'd like to know is how do they compare?

The spacing on the BTB is 47mm (about 1.85") at the nut.

    Lakland 55-01 is 1.81" (46mm)

Havent looked up Kingston or Sadowsky.

I've played the 405QM and I like the spacing, I dont like going too thin. I cannot play on Spectors, Fenders 5'ers (except Roscoe Beck) or most Warwicks.

What I'd like to know is which of those is best, to matching the BTB string spacing.
