I play a 34" scale 5 string fretted MVP Pedulla. I use medium gauge steel wound Rotosounds and really like the way it sounds and plays except the B string. Its almost impossible to get in tune, and usually sounds pretty awful and muddy. I know how people go on about 34" scale B strings, but does anyone get a good sound out of their's?

Try a set of D'Addario Pro Steels. Great "B" when I had them on my 34" scaled fretted 5.
