Strings for Epi bolt neck T Bird

    Yes,i have read the stickys and many other string threads.

    However, I am probably going to sell this Epi T-Bird vintage burst bass and would like opinions on what gauge and whether to go round, half or flatwounds for best resale.

    I assume roundwounds...what about a set of GHS roundwound bassics in medium light I have laying around?

    This bass has a HUGE neck btw.

    Strings shouldn't affect resale value hugely. A good setup with strings with some life in them (esp. rounds) is probably a good idea.

    For best resale margin leave the strings on it, on it.

    Oh, get and keep the bass squeaky clean. It makes trying it nicer and gives the impression the instrument has been looked after.

    Thanks, one string broke at the tuner, so that is why a new set is necessary.

    Definitely doing a setup, which I've done to many guitars but not many basses.
