Strings for growl and still good for harmonics?

Discussion in 'Strings [BG]' started by ikickuintheballs, Apr 1, 2003.

  1. Hey guys. I'm sure this has been beaten, but what strings should I get if I want to get a nice mid-range growl and keep my harmonics sounding sweet. I have a Warwick Corvette STD 5-string through a Hartke 3500 and Aguilar GS112. Thanks. :)
  2. DR Fatbeams! They'll do excactly that, and they have a very good low-end at the same time.
  3. Thanks a lot. I'll keep an eye out when I go shopping for strings. It's been so long! Probably a year since my last change. I've only changed them once. I have DR's on right now.
