strings for reverse headstock

Discussion in 'Strings [BG]' started by THC, May 21, 2003.

  1. What strings are used on basses with reverse headstock? I have a 5 string that's got the B string as the longest one. The G string is pretty short. If I use a "normal" set, I'm afraid the B won't reach the tuner! Like, what do they string up Thunderbirds with? I've never seen any strings branded for reverse headstocks.

i was forced into buying a set of ken smith strings for my 6-string warwick, one thing i noticed was the the strings were really, really long.

try his website. and BTW, i think ken smith has GHS winding for him (contracted out)
hope this is a good start
