Strings For...

    I have searched and not found any help full information. Ok, I need to get some new strings and i have only tried one type a couple of times and i want some strings that sound really great slapping because I have been using slap style alot lately. So if anyone could tell me about their favorite Slapping string i would greatly apreciate it.

    Anyone with suggestions... I will bet getting some new strings tomorrow...:( ????

    Choosing strings a personal thing. You might hate what I like.

    Any name brand of roundwound strings will do fine, I prefer stainless steels, but a lot of people swear by nickels.

    I'd recommend a set gauged .040, .060, .080, .100, again, some people like heavier strings.

    I've settled for Pyramid Pyrasound stainless steels gauged .035, .055, .075, .095 for years now. 20$ a set in Germany.

    But I heard they're more expensive in the US - and hard to get.

    Most people here seem to like DR strings.
