STRINGS sound...yeah.

    i have ernie ball super slinkys on a p-bass...
    first changed strings- kick off to the "trial of errors"

    they sound good to slap and pretty ok to finger pick...
    but im looking for a more treble sounding and "pickable" set of strings...
    wat type of strings cud i get to sound more treble like punkish.........example...maybe jus kinda getting the matt freeman sound...or hell maybe even the mike dirnt..but will these strings sound gay when i finger? (cus they both mostly use picks..)

    ive never really picked..b/c the Super SLinkys were way too slinky and when id tighten them theyd loose sound and were way too tight...yeah..but id like to try it cus i mostly like to play punk music (strings to pick/finger with)
