Zup? New to the forum and have a question.

I bought a used Ibanez 5-String and got it home to find the truss rod nut is spent.

It's playable now, and I'm sure I can get it out, but I want to make sure I have one to put back in for no down time.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for get one? Thanks.

I see two options in your future:

    1) Go to your local Ibanez dealer and get them to order just the right part - might be tricky, making sure they know exactly the model and year of your bass and THEN making sure they know what size to send. Put it in a safe place for when you need it.

    2) Wait until you need to get the nut out, and when you do, MAKE SURE IT'S THE NUT instead of another problem.

  5. Given how cheap they are, just buy a few different sizes(metric probably).
