How would one go about stripping the neck on an Englehardt EM1? I don't really like the finish on it, and the Kay I play at school has a very natural feel to it. How would I go about stripping and maintaining this?
  2. As is mentioned in Mr. Goodbar's thread and others, steel wool and Danish oil works well. It requires minimal effort and the results are most impressive. I stripped the polyarmor off my Engelhardt and had the first coat of oil on it in less than 30 minutes. Two or three more coats of oil over then next few days and I was in business.
