Thank you for your intrest. The warwick bag is on hold. It does have the backpack style straps. I would think about 1/4 inch of padding. The other gig bag has about 1/2 padding but only a single strap. Hope this helps. Just uploaded some pictures of the bags.

Yes in fact I am. The Lane Poor EMG 40 size pickups are for five string and the other set could be used for a five string bass as well. Of course the gig bags would fit a five, four, or six string bass. I also have a wonderful Genz Benz 2x10 that I have used a five string bass on for five years. Come to think of it I have at least a dozen D'Addario Slowound super long scale, five string bass string sets I may sell. Or perhaps I should sell a couple of basses, which are five strings. I have an extra fretless and fretted five, actually I have several "extra" five string basses lying around. Want one??
