What would 'FLAT' EQ be considered on my Ampeg BA-115. It really doesn't say in the manual.

I (obviously) have Treble, Mid, and Low knobs. They go from either 0-10 or 1-10 I can't recall..but is '5' flat? Some people said it wasn't to me before.

I also have a 'Style' knob that goes from 1-5..and setting '3' is flat.

So in order to make my amp 100% flat, would I set my 'Style' to 3 and treble/mid/low to all '5'?
  2. yes, flat is what it would look visually. either 12 o'clock or half is typically flat.

I think that Ampeg preamps are flat with the knobs centered. However if you want to be dead sure, it's not hard to measure. I have a free spectrum analyzer program at my website, and I used it to find out the voicing of my GK head. It was an eye opening experience.
