Does anyone who uses any octaver pedals live have probs with there amps juice getting drained by the reproduction of the lower end? Ive only studio dabbled with such pedals but Im guessing it can cause probs with amps and push speakers very hard. Also when my rigs set up and running I'll be using a early 80s soundcity[hiwatt copy]valve amp so obviouly Ive got no frequency response chat, anyone had experience with vavle and reproduction of lower end?
The lower you go, the more energy it takes. Octave pedals aren't meant to go much lower than the actual range of the bass. The goal is more to keep a beefy tone when playing on higher frets.
