suggest low tension deep geezer tone flatwounds

    Can someone suggest low tension easy to play flat wounds that get that old school geezer sound?

    I currently have la Bella flat wounds and I dig the tone but the tension is just so high I can barely bend the strings.

    I really love low tension and low action like I get with warwick red label rounds on my warwick streamer standard (long scale). tension feels great.

    I want that feel with flats on my medium scale Ibanez atk. I have also tried rotosound flats but they were too bright almost like rounds. Cheers.

  3. I want to do the same thing. I heard that the DR flats are soft to the hand. I will buy a set next weekend let's see what happens.
     
  4. Sadowskys– a lot like LaBellas but less tension and little more bite.
