Hi there. Just joined talkbass and it is a great forum for bassists! :hyper:

    I need some advice...

Do any of you have a recommendation for practice amps? I usually practice at night, and don't want to disturb neighbors or family. So it should also have a headphone option plus aux input.

Try the SWR small combos, or if you can, a workingman's 10 (the 80 watts cube). more expensive but soooo sweet.

  5. check out the orange crush series. the sound really nice for such little combos.

    and welcome to TB.

Thanks! I was searching for it online, and also found the Fender rumble 25. do you or anyone else here know the difference between that and the bassman 25??

I got a SWR Workingman 12 combo. Great for practice has headphone jack, but also a nice amp for small gigs. They make a 10" version too.

SWR recently revised this line of amps to tilt-back style cabinets, so stores are selling the old boxy versions cheap. MF has had a bunch they have been selling real cheap.

So far on my list i have:
    Hartke A70
SWR LA12(kinda scared from SWR after my Halfstack... way to bright...)
    Vox T60
    Warwick Blue Cab 60
Roland Cube 100(realy a bit to powerfull for what im gonna use it for)

    got any tips for me?

Your choice of course. I've had my 8 or 9 years and used it constantly w/o any problems.
