    For sale is this beautiful Sugi Night Breeze 5 bass guitar from Matsumoto, Nagano. (Japan)

    This bass is in excellent condition. I’ve only used it in the studio; never played with it live and owned for just over year. Currently stored in its case waiting to be played by its new owner.

    Bass highlights:

    - Bass weighs just over 9 pounds

    - Buckeye Burl top wood with matching buckeye on the headstock

    -2 piece walnut body

    - Ebony fingerboard with abalone dot inlays

    - 5 piece neck with maple, purple heart stringers, and an aqua timber center piece.

    - Abalone bat inlaid in ebony on the body

    - Inlaid abalone Sugi brand on the headstock

    - Sugi Original single coil pick ups (passive) with front volume (neck pickup), rear volume (bridge pickup), and master tone.

    - Matching buckeye eye burl pickup covers with mahagony wrapping around the sides of pickups.

    - 35 inch scale with 24 frets (rounded edges on the frets)

    - Black Gotoh GB350 light-weight tuning keys

    - Black Gotoh 404BO-5 (18mm string spacing) bridge

    - Sugi Original semi-hard case

    - Original cosmo black Gotoh strap pins, bridge and tuning keys that came with the bass and black Fender strap locks.

  3. Gorgeous bass. Would love to try a 33 or 34-in version of this. Would love to hear samples of it, too, if it weren't inconvenient. Best of luck with the sale.

    The nut width is 43mm and I would say the neck profile on this bass is thin/fast.
