Summer decided to come late this year.

Aint that the troof?!??!??!!??? 101 at home in Long Beach, 103 at work in Irvine

 

I JUST bought a house with a swimming pool here....and summer abruptly ended.

 

It was 54 in Skitchland, that being Wales.

 

it's 111 here in covina. if it's that hot i expect to be sitting in a casino drinking free cocktails...

 

Surf is good too. Glassy. Clean. and overhead. I'm out of here in five minutes. Later.

 

It's getting into the 90's this week, which is unheard of around here this time of years. It's hotter than it was in August!

 

Ventura, CA foothills @ 107ºF today.

 

It’s a cool (by comparison to some of those Southland temperatures) 93 here in Sonoma County. Oh, and they just fertilized the fields across from work. It’s like being wrapped in a hot dry blanket that was dipped in **** a day ago.

 

100F here in Murrieta and it's 5 PM

 

113 in L.A. today...and you can expect more of this. And possibly more extreme winters, too. It's that climate thing that's not really happening, no sir, it sure isn't.

 

Climate change is a fact, IMO, but I have heard before that it is common for California to see its hottest tempteratures in the early fall. That said, the weather SOCAL is getting at the moment is wild!

 

Got up to 83 or so in Monterey. Kinda sucks when your buildings don't have air conditioning.

 

Yeah, first it was global warming but when that didn't hold up too well it was renamed climate change.

 

Covina, eh? I grew up in W.Covina, living in Hacienda Heights these days...

 

yups. i grew up in pomona, lived in a few other cities close by as well, always lived in so cal.
