After using exclusively Rotosound Swing 66s on my Jazz, I just tried Sunbeams and holy sh*t. They're like butta. Man I wish I had tried them sooner. :(

I haven't tried these yet and have been wondering how they sound. I like the midrange sound that you get from nickel.

It's not just the Nickel at work here. Sunbeams are round-core and the Rotos are hex-core. Round core strings tend to be more supple. Warwick's OEM strings are stainless steel round-cores and they sound and play great.

Are Sunbeams supposed to be brighter than Hi-Beams? I've been using Hi-Beams for awhile, but I'm looking for a brighter string to accent my bass solos better.
