Sunday's the Day!!

After all these years of bassin' and after all these years of singin' in my church choir, this Sunday I get to do both. At the same time. Preferably in the same key.

I'm getting prepared by learning to walk and chew gum at the same time.

Funny thing is, I'm actually not really nervous at all, 'cause I've been workin' it all week. I won't be singing lead on any of the songs, but it's still a big step for me.

I will have to back off one of the more complicated walking patterns doing one of the chorus vamps, but otherwise, I think it'll come together pretty cool.

What's driving the situation is that because of people being out of town, there are only 2 tenors left in our choir for a while. The other tenor is singing lead on one of the songs, so my voice is definitely needed.
