Sunn 1200S and impedence

Hi,

I have the opportunity to pick up a Sunn 1200S head in excellent condition, at a very affordable price.

As you probably noticed, Fender is very silent about the power this head delivers on other impedences than 2 ohms.

Though, they state that the Fender Bassman 215 and 410 PRO SL cabs (each handle 300 W at 8 ohms) have both been built to be companions to the 1200S head. And the manual shows 4 speaker outputs, and specifies that you must not plug speakers in series mode, but only in parallel mode.

I also seem to remember I read that the power ratings might be the following :

- 1200 W @ 2 ohms
- 600 W @ 4 ohms
- 300 W @ 8 ohms

Can anyone confirm or give more information about this ?
