Sunn 300t output distortion question

    I just got a SUNN 300t amp and it sounds amazing But one of the speaker outputs sounds like Wide open distortion. The one on the left is normal and the one on the right is just soooo distorted it is unuseable. Any Ideas what might be wrong and how to fix it? Or should I just get it to a tech? thanks for your help :eyebrow: everything else seems to work properly so far.

    Nighttrain,

    You have to use the main speaker output if you only have one cabinet. If you have two cabs, ohbviously then yo uwill use the second output.

    This might be the cause of the problem right there if you only use one cabinet.

    I appreciate it. That was the problem I just tried it with two 8 ohm cabs with the tap switch set at 4 ohms (8+8=4) and it sounded fine. I am enjoying the Tone Monster. Nice Fat Deep Bass as it should sound. Having fun so I guess that is what counts.

    I'm still missing that amp - just couldn't lift it any longer. Glad that you are getting the best from it!

    This Amp is the best I ever had !!!!

    I am really happy with it. I followed your advice and tried it with some 15`s but I am keeping my 8X8 cabinet for now as it is a perfect match ! I did try the EDEN 2X15 with it and it sounded great !
