    Hi guys

I have long wondered about my P Bass copy, it is branded a Sunn Mustang and was made in India around 1990. I just wondered if anybody knew anything about them. I paid about £80 for it second hand - and recently the pick ups have started humming. Any information is greatly received. It's a nice ice-white finish too.

It was Fender's attempt to make a cheaper bass than the Squier. It was pretty much the cheapest bass you could buy at the time, at least in the UK. They came with flatwound strings. They've been replaced by the Squier Affinity series.

I used to have an old red Sunn Mustang P-Bass. Pretty horrible! In my opinion, anyway. I actually made more money than I had paid for it by taking it to bits, and selling the neck, body, pickups etc seperately on ebay.

    Regards

The Sunn is the same bass that was sold in the USA as the Squier II.
