I wanna buy it so I can go to the Gibson/Epiphone manufacturing company and burn it in front of them. it needs to be destroyed!
I think that's pretty rockin'. I also liked the Jack Casady bass, so I guess that just tells you what I'm into. I really dig the color, and the old-school Gibson-style bridge. What's that bad boy gonna set me back?
Yeah I like it but Im not sure on how it'll sound and how much it is. but I like the body.Oh by the way the bass will cost...One million dollars MUWAHAHAHAHAH...MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA...
the Great Allen Woody always had a superfat sound. He always preferred Gibson basses and had an interesting collection of prototypes and custom made ideas. probably this epiphone is a cheap version of a bass designed by Allen with the Gibson custom shop. it always interesting to see new basses. and knowing how good Allen's basses sounded this makes me really interested in this bass. if dumb deaf children who listen to Korn and Blink 182 exclusively don't know anything about Allen, it's not my fault. www.vguitar.com/artists/details.asp?ID=26
Allen Woody was the man. His work with the Bros and Mule was top-notch all the way. Warren says he had a wild sense of humor, too. I dug his instructional video, sorta out there at times but real practical, helpful tips. If Woody designed that bass, it's probably cool. Everything else he did was, except the way he checked out...way too soon.
personally, I think it looks gorgeous...but then, I don't care for pointy type guitars either...like Ibanez or Jacksons or anything like that. I sure hope it sounds good, because I've gotta get me one of those....
Don't expect any Jazz Bass sounds out of it. With those pickup placements, you're going to get big boom-boom sounds. Thunderous lows, baby.
