Support rails for a rack case

    Building a simple 4U rackmount setup.
    Where can I get 1U support rails to for a rack case? I'm referring to horizontal rails similar to ones that are made for computer racks and such....I need something like that to hold a full size 1U piece of gear one space above my amp inside the case (the space will be empty for ventilation)?

    OR is there any other solution I'm missing?

    Do you presently have rack rail on the left and right sides of your rack for bolting in rack mount equipment? Is that what you're looking for?

    Don't have the rack yet and I'm trying to design one in my head. :)

    Not the vertical rails, but support rails that go front to back for holding gear above an empty space. But this rack will be a shallow SKB. :(

    If your electronics has rack ears, it will support itself, screwed into the rails. If there are no ears, you'll can get a rack shelf - pictured above. To my memory, I don't remember a front to back support for the gear.
