supporting our supporters

  1. Hi folks

We have a small, but very dedicated group of supporters, mainly friends etc. who come to every gig, no matter how far they have to travel.

what i want to do is give something back to them. we were thinking of getting a venue, throwing on the beer and inviting these guys and their friends to a private party.

what experience do you have in showing gratitude to those punters that always support your gigs?

We've offered people to go to after-show parties, just make sure no one else hears about it (at least until it's over). Maybe give 'em free merch too.

Free admission to some gigs? Free drink tickets or something? Free CDs if you have one? Somehow arrange free transportation to a gig or two that's farther away? The private party idea is cool too, just giving some other ideas...

I think it is cool of you to want to reward those dedicated fans. :)

We also have a small, but loyal following. Kind of corny, but during the break, we presented the folks that have never missed one of our gigs a cheap homemade award ( The Shakedowncruise Golden Shaker Award ). It went over great. Little things sometimes make very big impressions.
