I recorded a tune the other day with a friend in his project studio. I brought along my '83 Ibanez Roadstar II for the session and was surprised at how it sounded. I haven't recorded with anything but a Stingray for a while now but I'm REALLY impressed with the tone of this bass. It has stock pickups, bridge, etc...everything and I think it's even a plywood body b/c the specs call the body "laminated wood". This bass has one of the most easy to play necks I've ever come across.
