Sustain effect without compression: does this exist in pedal format ?

    Title pretty much explains it. Looking for added sustain, EHX Freeze not the solution for me.

    You might look into the Seymour Duncan Double Back compressor. OK- it's a compressor, but it has a non-compressed sustain feature. I owned one of these for a while, and really liked it. 'Sold it to free up some pedalboard real estate, and am still a bit sorry I did.

    Most any compressor can give you sustain by slowing down the release time.

    If is it slowed down enough I suppose you can call it AGC or sustain instead of compression, but it is still a compressor or gain rider.
