One of my amps is an SVT-CL.
I am about to buy a 3rd cabinet but my current cabs are a Berg HT322 (4 Ohm) and a TL606 (non original 4 ohm speaker).

I built the TL606 in 1984 and realize I might get better performance with a new brandy new Eminence 3015 driver instead of the Carvin unit.

New speaker arrived and I JUST realized that the SVT does not have an 8 ohm tap
This amp is a super clean US model that I intend to keep forever.

    Does the Kappalite get returned?

Depends... If you bought before the recent price increase, it could be worth more now than what you paid for it.

    Cab 1 - Berg
    Cab 2 - TL606 - being swapped for 8ohm 3015

    Keep it. Then buy:

    Cab 3 - 1X12, 2X10?? - anything 8 ohm

You could run the Berg, or the 3015 and new cab, or you can shake the foundations and run them all.

Unless you are not buying a third cab, but just a new driver for cab #2

Cab 3 is a light weight 4x10 at 4 ohms
The idea was the 1x15 for small gigs; the 4x10 for medium and the Berg when I want killer tone and don't mind a 100 lb cab.
Truth be told, the SVT stays mostly at home and a Mesa WA goes to the ball; just don't want to have a cab that I can't use safely with this head.
