Hi. is there any small size padal that can make SVT sound like VTbass?

I have VTDI but that is too big in my PT Nano.. :(

    Thanks n advance!

I wonder if the amp effects in the single-unit sized Zoom sim effects box MS-60B would get you close (they're tweakable, too). There's an Ampeg SVT sim in the B3n, probably the same, not sure how good it is but might be worth checking out.

The Zoom MS-60b isn't perfect but it's close enough in many situations.

Not sure if the regular VT Bass pedal is small enough but that's pretty close to the real deal. There's also the Ampeg Classic Preamp pedal out there too.

Wow...you must be squeezed for space if you can't fit the vtdi

Maybe you should try the Mooer Target cab sim, or maybe just get a bigger board... who knows.

I think I get a more authentic SVT tone my OmniCabSim and Ictineo. I add in some Gasoline when I want overdriven SVT.

Is the VT Bass V2 pedal too big? It's smaller than the VT Bass DI.

  13. I thought all Zoom pedals sounded pretty much the same, true?

I haven't A/B'd them next to each other, but I do know that I instantly hated the SVT in the B3 and B1on and instantly loved the one in the B3n. I could never get a decent overdrive out of the older SVT model, but the new one I prefer to the VT Bass even.

The Sonic Silver Peg is great too, however it only has two preset gain levels which may or may not work for you.

The SFT is a great pedal but sounds nothing like an SVT IMHO.

Yeah, I only have one so I can't compare, but I'm under the impression that they definitely did a lot of tweaks to the modeling in the latest version of the B3n, I would assume the current version of the single pedal would also have the new models (but I haven't checked). Good to know they've improved from an experience perspective too.

I always thought the character series pedals were a little narrower than the SansAmp DI versions, but I just looked at mine and they all come in the same size metal box.

I would assume the single pedal is based on and staying based on the previous generation and the models associated with that, and the B3n is the only way to get the latest models currently. It has a great B7K sim that you can't get on any of the other units also.

Bummer - since it's just a firmware download - I was kind of hoping they'd make it available for the other units, too. :( But then, they're in the business of selling their latest...
