Svt Tone Suggestions

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by dikger, Mar 3, 2008.

  1. I recently purchased an Svt A/V. I am told that it is the same thing as any 300 watt tube Svt, only it is an anniversery vintage model. Sound right? I am currently using a 5 string Spector and a 4 string Jazz. Any good tone setting suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Any other information would also be helpful. Thanks.

  5. IMO it depend greatly on what cab U R using. If it's a SVT810 I use a SVT2 into a Bergantino NV610 & my (non-master volume) amp settings are as follws -usually-

Bass 4-5/10......... sometimes-depending on room I have tha bass even less-3 or 4/10
    Mid Pos. 4 .. 6/10
    Treble 6/10
    Both ultra hi/Low buttons OFF!!!!

  6. Thanks for the reply. I am using an Ampeg PR 410 hlf. I used to use the 810 but most times it's overkill. The 410 is plenty loud enough for the rooms that I play. Thanks again.
